What is healing for one may be harmful to another ...

My family and motherhood experience has confirmed this truth. It is my deep motivation for providing specific healing service to nourish diversity within wholeness of family. We (parents) are responsible for protecting, tending, and holding safe space for each child's life to flourish in its own nature into self-sufficiency. We empower our children when we connect them with their deep still source of inner awareness and whole-body wisdom; rather than just relying on their intellect and being at the liberty of their emotions. Of course, we (parents) have to know how to do this first before we can authentically be this example and encourage it in our children.

We are all so different in our biological composition of elements, energetic forces, and genetic behavioural patterns that it stands to reason that we each need to choose a way of being that helps our nature be well and flourish.

Nature is so intricate, interconnected, and precise in its workings that we are wise to trust our own body and pay attention to how it is coping with how we treat and use it.

"My body is my life-long instrument for living."

... is a mantra that I find helpful to remind me to be both self-responsible and supportive of others to do what we individually need to be well in body, mind, and heart.

This is the mastery of the Vedic healing system as preventative medicine; to embrace our capacities for self-awareness and self-empowerment to choose, create, and craft our individual experience of life.

This is particularly powerful medicine within a family setting to have direct observation, practical understanding, and ways of being to apply in our daily rhythm of life. We become naturally supported to nourish different natures within the wholeness of our family; on common ground and feeling joyful about our richness of skills, strengths, and natural beauty, fully expressed with truth, love, and purpose. When there are inevitable clashes of nature and ideas, we have tools to understand and use practical compassion with our inputs, digestion, and use of energy. And what we do each day creates the quality of our life.

The sister sciences of Yoga, Ayurveda, and Jyotish (used in context of their underpinning sacred view of Life) are available for us to use with awareness and self-responsibility with our free will. The Vedic system is Earth-based, Nature-centred and upholds universal and natural law, being practised for over 5000 years because it reflects truth of Nature and Life on Earth and, therefore, WORKS! It is inclusive and upholds the wealth, beauty, and wisdom of natural diversity within wholeness through all the gifted strengths and skills it provides.

We need not distract or criticise ourself or get caught up in other people's ideas, long-held stories, dogma, or our own fears and miss out on the transformative healing power offered by this nourishing wisdom tradition. We can choose to not become identified with these sacred tools or any tools for that matter! We do not need to adopt or attach to another belief system. We can feel the underlying sacred truth and choose to do what works for well-being of self and others, naturally, in daily connection with Nature and the Life-force.

I choose to keep my ancestral lineage gifts of wisdom (through my father and mother) alive in me and how I live my conscious daily life. Using the Vedic system has led me back to my ancestral spiritual home within me and supports me to include and use all that is truly life-supportive for my inner harmony and, therefore, well-being. I am self-empowered each and every day to craft my experience of life. My life has become what I make of it! I feel at home within my own nature with all of the truth, love, and purposeful beauty and majesty of Nature alive through my body's instrument and at my fingertips when I live in-rhythm with Nature and Life-force. I treat all Life and Nature as sacred. I care for each member of my family in this way while being self-responsible for my own well-being.

Ancestral gifts and the benefit of experiential life-wisdom to know what does and does not work, is a speciality of the Vedic system because it is Earth-based - as children of our Earth, all of our human ancestries come from Nature and ultimately the stars and to our Earth and the stars we shall ultimately return - dissolving back into time and space. Ancient spiritual traditions help us remember and live with vitality and radiance within Earth's Natural Law, providing us with an unwavering, flowing foundation of Life-force through Nature (our Truth of heart's energy of Sun-light, shared through our Purpose of body's Ascendant-life-in-nature, using our mind's Moon-Love to create with sacred loving intelligence and spiritual awareness if we so choose).

It does not really matter whether we call this Life-force, Spirit, God, Qi, Prana, or some other name. All that matters is that we are identified with Life and are reverent with Nature; that we recognise that something keeps our heart beating and our lungs breathing and that our natural body enables us to be alive and have a sensory experience of our Earth for a while. Our body carries us through our life-time and it holds the whole-body wisdom of what keeps us well. It is essential to refer to our sacred source of inspiration and energy and be responsible for our own life and how we use it.

A gentle life of self-discipline and self-management

... requires living within Natural Law and not pushing too hard. A balanced life-way supports whole health and inner harmony. Constant striving can wear us out, especially without choosing heartfelt intention and focus to use our energy on what truly matters to us. When we are unhappy and unclear about what to use our life-energy for, this energy can implode and cause disharmony, imbalance, dis-ease. This has been my personal experience with my own state of well-being.

Devotion is positive and does involve deep effort but it is calm, patient, balanced, undistracted, purposeful, clear about what it is working towards. This is why, for me personally, feeling purpose has been necessary to clarify so I can direct and use my big internal energies of truth and love on what I feel is worth using my sacred life-opportunity for. The Vedic system has given me a scaffold for using my energy within Natural Law and respecting my natural boundaries.

Gentleness is the tone and atmosphere of an unhurried life of focused devotion. Faith in the greater movement of life that we are all a part of, beginning within family life, help us remain patient while living our life with courage and commitment towards well-being of self and others.

Nature has structure of Sun's rise and rest, Moon's wax and wane. There are cycles, seasons, stages and as Human Nature we have the precious opportunity to choose, create, and craft our experience of life within this structure. This structure provides an unshakeable scaffold helping us feel secure in our foundations of Nature. They have no expectation of us and offer unwavering clarity - there are no moving yardsticks! We can trust greater Nature's integrity AND our embodied human-Nature's integrity!

To live life gently while making full use of each day on what we feel is worthwhile, is a sure way of well-being.

Doing our inner work to evolve our ancestral patterns ...

... As individual natures within wholeness of family.

... Do we understand and support each other's evolution and inner harmony for well-being?

We all choose to continue or change our family patterns, consciously or unconsciously. Some of us naturally feel the need to do this more than others. The patterns we are compelled to evolve arise from experience of pain on some level, giving rise to an inner desire or drive to do something different and be a different way. This is part of our individual evolutionary purpose as part of our genetic, ancestral lineages involving both our mother and father. Sometimes it is helpful to have compassionate support as we try to evolve these patterns.

This individual compulsion and resistance dynamic is a special layer of Jyotish (Vedic Astrology). I have had cause to use this sacred insight as a reliable, objective scaffold for compassionate self-inquiry and consideration of personal truth, love, and purpose. Jyotish has been a wise, kind friend to me throughout my healing journey.

I provide a heartfelt conversation space to support others in their conscious inner work of up to six intentional 2-hour conversations. This is supported by a personalised workbook containing birth chart, detailed reflections of patterns of your Nature, and six sacred intentions with natural laws and ways of being using food-as-medicine and behavioural practice. We use your workbook as a basis for our conversations; it also serves as an ongoing reference for your self-awareness and inner harmony.
