"Simple Kindness IS Wisdom"

I love this photo of my husband being present with our youngest daughter and listening carefully to what she had to say. You can see that she is in serious conversation explaining something or other. He is good at making people feel comfortable in his presence; a receptive, inclusive, intelligent, gentle man. Twelve years on from when this picture was taken, these two share a similar sense of humour and a playfulness and understanding that is very natural. They are good friends.
Whole-Person Support using Ayurveda with Jyotish
It is practical to understand our wholeness and lead a life that is kind to our body and being. And if we choose to be parents, to appreciate our child as a whole person and try to nourish their true nature in body, mind, and heart as distinct from our own. This takes quiet presence, active listening, and kind attention to help them flourish according to their nature in nature's time, and support their self-awareness and self-leadership to craft their own experience of life. We first reassure by including them in our daily life when they are young so they can observe and we can share with them. They learn by watching our daily example for better or worse - "they learn what they live" - parents and children learn and grow together.
When it comes to kindness and wisdom, I find the Vedic healing system to be truthful, practical, and compassionate. This system includes the sister sciences of Yoga, Ayurveda, and Jyotish. Yoga supports sacred identification and connection with the greater movement of Life in Nature on Earth. Ayurveda supports self-management of physical mind/body type and energy using food-as-medicine and behavioural practice. Jyotish is Soli-Lunar Vedic Astrology/Astronomy which supports the truth of our whole nature; providing insight to mental/emotional/spiritual aspects of our nature and purposeful use of our life-time for well-being. This system is simply a direct reflection of patterns of Nature incorporating natural laws, time-tested practices, and ways of being that are consciously aware, logical, sensible, and life-supportive. The beauty and wisdom of diversity within the wholeness of Life in Nature is upheld. There is no homogeneity but oneness as Life in a myriad of expressions of Nature. We can feel connected as Life and empathise with each other on the basis of feeling and its vast array of emotions that we experience as human Nature. We can offer love and support but not become entangled in each other's suffering so we can help each other heal. We can respect and honour each other's life-opportunity and sacred life-journey.
Nourishing Our Sacred Nature - Diversity within Wholeness
My husband and I have experienced several challenges as our three children have grown. I have found it deeply healing to understand our five different natures and appreciate our family's richness of diverse strengths, gifts, and skills. This has helped to see each other just as we are, rather than through lenses and filters of mental and emotional bias that are often divisive, unkind, and untrue. When there are challenges, truth and understanding are key for making healing choices and taking right-action for well-being. Comparing one against another is against our nature's flourishing. Harmony and cooperation are life-generating.
This current age of excessive information-sharing and circulation of opinions, ideas, and conclusions make it extra hard for each person to focus on what is true and trust our own experience and whole-body wisdom. Before we let the world "flood in" we must know how to handle it. Keeping our own power of attention is key! Being discerning is key! We must be in charge of our own mind as an instrument to use FOR our life not against our life. Imbalance of ungrounded, head-heavy intellect without experiential testing for validity makes us come unstuck. A whole lot of information is not knowledge, it is often mental noise and mental clutter shrouding direct, intelligent discernment. We must always address what is needed immediately within and around us and be responsible to take care of it. Each nature has our own embodied intelligence that we must be able to rely on to choose and craft our personal experience of life. That is what we are doing! It is just a question of whether we are doing it consciously with self-responsibility.
What is healing for one nature may be harmful to another. I experience that this is absolutely true, and so I provide a service using Ayurveda with Jyotish to support self-awareness and self-leadership using food-as-medicine, body, breath, awareness, and Nature. I support parents and individuals.
With kindness,
Didileia🙏💜
