New Moon is a time to rest and restore after giving from our inner abundance and physical energy. New Moon is a time to take personal quiet and listen to our heart-space and its stirrings of inspiration from the Life and Nature flowing through our veins; to check-in with what feels vital, energising, nourishing, and life-supportive. Our river of thought and feeling and our five senses are the instruments and unbiased barometer that show us very clearly what is good or not good for our own body and being. From this New Moon check-in of giving ourself the gift of quiet presence and inner stillness, we clarify what we must personally clear away to create good ground for growth and flourishing, or know what seeds we must plant, or what plants we must continue to tend to in our own life that we are leading. This is conscious self-awareness and self-leadership in daily-life-practice!

A Mother's Self-Awareness & Daily-Life-Practice
It is hard to nourish body, mind, and heart (spirit) naturally in a family context, especially these days. It can often seem futile in amongst the tidal waves of social pressure and the empty over-connectedness and vast ocean of worthless information. "Bombarded" comes to mind and we all have to be diligent to keep our own power of attention, be in charge of our own brain chemistry, and be discerning with what we choose to take in, digest, and give our energy to. But Nature is always within and around us providing us nourishment for our body, mind, and heart. We have only to be present in our body, pay quiet attention without judgement, and be in our senses without being ruled by them. Parents are responsible for daily cultivation of whole family heart with inclusion and value for diverse natures with their strengths and intelligences, and actively showing love of no individual being greater or less than another. Mothers and fathers are responsible for securing, protecting, and nourishing our family in natural ways.
