In Rhythm with the Wax & Wane of Mother Moon
Full Moon is a time to feel grateful for all that is good in our life, no matter how small or mundane. Full Moon is a time to celebrate, share, give generously from our fullness with deep regard for our life-opportunity and the lives of others close to us.

Nourishing Body, Mind, & Spirit Naturally
FULL MOON Mind - High Tide, Contribute
11th July, 6:36 a.m., Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Sidereal Zodiac: Full Moon in Sagittarius (Purva Ashadha Nakshatra, Scorpio Pada)
CELEBRATE and express appreciation for all that we have.
WANING
Share, give back, contribute abundance with dignity, love, and kindness.
Empty and release and let go.
Use your natural gifts and strengths for well-being of self and others.
Then RETREAT to restore and re-energise at New Moon.
OBSERVING NATURE, CHOOSING BALANCE
Sharing inspiration of gifts from our garden ...
There are slim pickings in our vegetable garden at the moment although the Mandarins and Flat-Leaf Parsely are still abundant. I spied some soft green lettuce leaves which I might pick soon in the early-come-late winter rain. The Rosemary is flowering and that along with Lemon Balm are providing a few sprigs and stems to place in vases around the house. The Bay tree is also abundant. Bay leaves are wonderful added to casseroles and stews.
A quantity of Bay leaves steeped in boiling water for a few minutes can be cooled and used as a lovely hair rinse for dark-coloured hair. Abhyanga, self-massage with oil before a shower, comes into its own at this time to balance Vata and the cool, light, dryness of air in space. Massaging the soles of the feet with room temperature cold-pressed Sesame Oil is also an Ayurvedic way of being to support calm nervous system and restful sleep.
A Mother's Reflections
Forcing to thrive. I reflect on this and what we can do about it in this article.
